⚠️ Why Low Surface Energy (LSE) Wrap Matters:
Many dirt bikes, especially off-road or motocross models, use textured polypropylene or polyethylene plastics that repel standard adhesive vinyl. LSE vinyl is engineered with stronger adhesive properties, improving bonding to these challenging surfaces without requiring adhesive promoter. This means less peeling, better durability, and longer-lasting installs—especially under harsh riding conditions.

Pre-Installation Preparation
1. Disassemble the Plastics (Recommended):

Remove fenders, number plates, radiator shrouds, and any wrapable panels.

Disassembly allows for easier vinyl placement, better edge wrapping, and safer trimming.
2. Clean Thoroughly:

Wash all surfaces with soap and water to remove dirt, oil, and race track residue.

Wipe down with 70% isopropyl alcohol to remove any remaining contaminants.

If using the standard vinyl (47in x 72in) on textured plastic, you may optionally use a plastic adhesion promoter (if you're experienced)—but LSE vinyl eliminates this need.
Installation Instructions
1. Plan and Pre-Cut Vinyl Sections:

Identify the most complex panel (usually radiator shrouds or rear fenders) and cut appropriately sized sections.
-
Lay all vinyl pieces flat and organize them by panel for a smooth workflow.
2. Start With Flat or Low-Contour Panels:
-
Begin with side number plates, fork guards, or flat areas.
-
Peel a few inches of the backing and apply using the Eco Glide Squeegee, working from the center outward.
3. Tackle Curved Plastics (Shrouds, Fenders):
-
Use the Inferno Heat Gun on low heat to warm the vinyl—this increases flexibility and conformability.
-
For deeply curved edges, gently stretch and wrap the vinyl, making small relief cuts as needed.
4. Trim and Tuck:
-
Use the Precision Knife to trim excess vinyl cleanly around bolt holes, vents, and panel seams.
-
Tuck the edges under lips or behind trim when possible.
5. Edge Sealing (Optional for Racing/Harsh Use):

After installing, you may apply a thin bead of edge sealer or go over high-wear edges with light heat and firm pressure to lock them down.
Post-Install Tips

Let the vinyl rest for 24 hours before riding or washing the bike.

Avoid power washing or high-pressure hoses near seams for 3–5 days.
-
If storing outdoors, use a bike cover to extend the life of the wrap.
Finish-Specific Maintenance
Matte:

Do not use wax or polish. Clean with matte-specific sprays.

Wipe gently with microfiber towels to maintain a consistent finish.
Satin:

Use non-gloss detailing sprays.
-
Avoid circular wiping to preserve the soft sheen.
Gloss:

Clean with vinyl-safe soap and microfiber cloths.
-
Use detail sprays to enhance shine and UV protection.
