Cornhole Board Wrap Installation Guide

Each cornhole board wrap kit includes a 24in x 48in sheet of premium vinyl film—perfectly sized to cover a standard regulation cornhole board. This wrap is available exclusively in a satin finish, offering a sleek, low-glare appearance ideal for gameplay and visual appeal.

Recommended Tools:

Pre-Installation Preparation:

1. Clean the Board Surface:

  • Ensure the board is smooth, dry, and dust-free.

  • Wipe the surface with 70% isopropyl alcohol using a lint-free cloth.

  • If needed, lightly sand the board first to remove any bumps or imperfections, then clean again.

Installation Instructions:

1. Align and Dry-Fit the Vinyl:

  • Place the wrap over the board before peeling the backing.

  • Make sure all edges are lined up and the hole area is centered underneath the vinyl.

2. Apply the Wrap:

  • Peel back a few inches of the liner from the top and anchor the vinyl in place.

  • Slowly remove more backing while using the Eco Glide Suede Squeegee to apply pressure from the center outward.

  • Smooth out the film in overlapping strokes to avoid bubbles and creases.

3. Cut the Hole (Beginner Tips):

  • Once the vinyl is fully applied and smoothed, locate the center of the hole underneath.

  • Use your finger to gently press into the center of the hole to create a slight dimple.

  • With your Precision Knife, carefully cut a small “X” in the center of the hole.

  • Slowly work outward in a circular motion, following the inside edge of the board’s hole.

  • Make small cuts rather than one big cut—this gives you more control.

  • After trimming, use light heat (optional) and your squeegee to press down the vinyl around the hole’s edge for a clean finish.

4. Trim the Edges:

  • Trim the excess vinyl along the board’s outer edges using your precision knife.

  • Press the edges down firmly with the squeegee to seal.

Post-Install Tips:

  • Allow the vinyl to rest for at least 12 hours before gameplay.

  • For extra protection, you may apply a clear polyurethane coating over the top, but be sure it is vinyl-safe and tested on a small section first.

Satin Finish Maintenance:

  • Wipe clean with a damp microfiber cloth after use.

  • Avoid using harsh cleaners or abrasive sponges.

  • Store boards in a dry area to prolong the wrap’s life.
